A Luxembourg Family Office · Est. MMXXI

Capital, held
with conviction.

A private office in Luxembourg holding equity in enterprises we intend to keep — advising principals and families across generations, quietly, and without hurry.

The Office

A quieter way of holding capital.

Founded in Luxembourg, Private Office is a family office that owns businesses on behalf of principals, and advises other families on the questions of ownership, succession, and structure.

Our model is neither a fund nor a bank. We take positions we intend to hold; we accompany the enterprises we own; and we advise other principals only when we would take the same position ourselves. The result is a smaller book, kept longer.

I.

Discretion

Client relationships are private by design. Nothing is discussed beyond the room in which it belongs.

II.

Permanence

We prefer holdings we can carry for decades. Time — not turnover — is our working capital.

III.

Stewardship

We manage on behalf of the generations who did not choose us, and the generations who have not yet arrived.

Advisory

Counsel offered as if the capital were our own.

The Office advises principals, family holdings, and boards on the questions that arrive between generations — quietly, and only where our conviction is genuine.

01.

Structuring

Holding structures, cross-border arrangements, and the quiet architecture that makes capital movable and durable.

02.

Succession

Ownership transitions between generations — governance, guardianship, and the human questions that outlast documents.

03.

Selective Mandates

A small number of advisory engagements each year, taken on only where the Office would invest its own capital in kind.

Privacy and Cookie Policies

01Who we are

PRIVATE OFFICE - LUXEMBOURG ("we", "us" or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit our website or contact us through its contact forms.

PRIVATE OFFICE - LUXEMBOURG is the controller responsible for this processing. You can contact us about privacy matters at lux@private-office.lu.

We process personal information in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable Luxembourg data protection law.

02Information we collect

When you use a contact form, we collect the contact details, message and other information you provide, together with any subsequent correspondence. Fields marked as mandatory are needed to handle your enquiry; other information is optional. Without sufficient information, we may be unable to respond.

Please do not submit sensitive personal information, identity documents or confidential financial records through a general contact form.

When you visit the website, our hosting and security providers may automatically record limited technical information, such as your IP address, browser type and version, device and operating system, the date and time of your visit, the pages viewed and the referring website. Where the contact form uses anti-spam protection, limited technical data may be processed to distinguish genuine enquiries from automated submissions. This information is used only to operate, maintain and secure the website. Cookies and similar technologies are described in our Cookie Policy.

03How and why we use information

We use your information to assess and respond to enquiries and manage related correspondence. We rely on our legitimate interest in responding to communications and managing business enquiries. Where your request concerns steps necessary before entering into a contract with you, we rely on that pre-contractual basis.

Where technical information is used to operate and secure the website, we rely on our legitimate interest in maintaining its security and reliability. We may also process information to comply with legal obligations or, on the basis of legitimate interests, to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Where processing requires consent, we explain the purpose and request consent separately. Submitting a contact form does not itself constitute consent to receive marketing.

04Who receives information

Access is limited to authorised personnel and providers who need the information for the purposes described above. Relevant recipients may include website hosting, maintenance, security, contact-form and email providers, professional advisers and competent authorities. Providers acting on our behalf are subject to appropriate contractual requirements.

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. We may also disclose information where required by law, regulation, court order or the request of a competent authority, or where necessary to protect our rights, property or safety, or those of others.

05International transfers

Some of our service providers may process personal information outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Where this occurs, we ensure that an appropriate level of protection is in place, either because the European Commission has decided that the destination country ensures an adequate level of data protection, or through appropriate safeguards such as the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission, supplemented where necessary by additional measures.

You may request further information about these safeguards, or a copy of them, by contacting us at lux@private-office.lu.

06Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as needed for its purpose, taking account of applicable legal requirements and the need to address disputes. At the end of the relevant period, information is securely deleted or anonymised.

Contact-form submissions and related correspondence are kept for as long as necessary to respond to and follow up on your enquiry, and generally for no longer than three years after our last contact with you, unless a longer period is required by law or regulation or is needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Where an enquiry leads to a business relationship, the related information is retained for the periods required by the legal, regulatory and tax obligations that apply to that relationship.

Technical and security logs, where collected, are generally kept for no longer than twelve months, unless they are needed for longer to investigate or address a security incident. Records of cookie and consent choices, where collected, are kept for no longer than twelve months, after which your choice may be requested again.

07Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, loss or destruction. No method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure.

08Your rights

Subject to the conditions in the GDPR, you may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal information, restriction of processing and data portability.

You may object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on legitimate interests. You may object to direct marketing at any time. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.

To exercise your rights, email lux@private-office.lu. We may request information reasonably necessary to verify your identity. We normally respond within one month. If a permitted extension is necessary because of the complexity or number of requests, we will explain this within that first month.

You may complain to the Commission nationale pour la protection des données (CNPD), 15, boulevard du Jazz, L-4370 Belvaux, Luxembourg. Information on making a complaint is available at cnpd.public.lu. You may also complain to another competent EU supervisory authority, particularly where you habitually reside, work or consider an infringement has occurred.

09Automated decisions

We do not use information collected through this website to make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on you.

10Updates and contact

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or applicable requirements. The current version will appear on this page with its revision date. For questions or requests, contact PRIVATE OFFICE - LUXEMBOURG at lux@private-office.lu.
